but you could have chosen a 5x5 m ground footprint. and a floorplan would be nice as well.

hehehe, 3x3m?! that's putting a different perspective on space... reminds me of bender's 'apartment' in futurama... :D

The c4d renders are simple and really pleasant to view... must be the soft shadows, perhaps i should try it out! :nod:

yeah,
lots of people get hung up about 3x3, 5x5 etc.
the point is that these are design experiments for the sake of expanding my (our) understanding of space and design in general.
my theory is that the most important thing to avoid in design is what i call "cancerous design"(TM) where the building grows randomly in all directions to accommodate the function, rather than fit the function into the spacial constraints set-out by the desired volume of the building. unfortunately in our part of the world, where we stupidly believe to have a lot of space (not considering the infrastructure required and the overall cost), cancerous design (TM) seems to be the favourite MO.

hey, as march is approaching, shouldn't you be changing your signature to 5th year? ;-)
